If you card has a Master Card, Visa, Discover, Amex etc logo on it, yes it can be used, else it cannot be used. Mostly the card is authorized by a third party using these gateways, and if your card does not have these logos that means your card cannot be authorized using these gateways, thus cannot be used on online shopping.
However, for online banking, as it is authorized by your bank, there shouldn't be any issue, once you are registered for online banking, actually your account is used internally not your card
as per my concern your syndicates bank's atm card authorized by visa.so,i think there are no problem of online banking.if u get any problem contact bank brunch.
