Syndicate Bank, Jadavpur Branch, Kolakata, is levying the service chage or commission since September 2008 on every credit byECS, like salary, dividend payment et al. this is not permissible. i get my pension through ecs in p n b and they dont charge a penny similar is the case with hdfc bank. if your bank is charging for incoming ecs please complain to the deputy governer, reserve bank of india, parliament street, new delhi. what your bank is doing is highly unethical
